1. ARRIVALS AND MEETING AT THE
AIRPORT
All participants who have informed their arrival details will be met at the
Yerevan Zvartnots airport. Please look for our posters and banners with
"JENAM-2007". Our people will organize your transportation to the hotels. This
is included in the registration fee. Our representative Daniel Ioannisyan is
the person in charge for meeting at the airport. In case of emergency, please
contact him by phone: 093-742244 (when calling from Armenia) or look for our
people with JENAM-2007 namebadges at the arrivals area.

As there were some small changes after we have submitted the programs to the
publication, we will print a separate sheet called "Changes in Program" and
insert in your satchels too. Please check it in addition to the Program book.
3. ABSTRACTS
All abstracts received before July 1 are included in the Abstract Book. We will
print separately the list of "Late Abstracts" and insert in your satchels as
well.
4. ORAL CONTRIBUTIONS
All oral contributions will be presented through projectors using Powerpoint or
any other standard file formats. Please contact us beforehand in case you have
some specific files. Please provide your files well in advance to our speaker
preparation group (person in charge: Vahagn Yeghikyan). Please ask at the
registration (especially those having talks on Monday, August 20).
5. MEETING HALLS
The JENAM opening session, EAS General Assembly and Plenary sessions will take
place at the YSU central building (the central conference hall).
All individual sessions will take place at the Departments of Physics and
Mathematics (which are in the same building, 1-3 floors) There will be five
meeting halls. The details will be available at the registration and will be
given in your Information Booklets. The person in charge for the meeting halls
is Lusine Paravyan.
6. POSTERS AND EXHIBITIONS
Each poster will have 120x80cm space. The numbers will be given according to the
numbering in the Program book and will be sorted by scientific sessions.
The exhibitions will be presented in the same area in the central building of
the YSU, where the coffee breaks will be organized too. For any assistance,
please contact Diana Antonosyan, person in charge for poster and exhibition
area.
7. TRANSPORTATION
We will organize your transportation in the mornings from six hotels (Ani Plaza,
Golden Tulip Yerevan, Congress, Shirak, YSU Guest House, and Byurakan
Observatory hotel) to the University. The buses will start from the Yerevan
hotels at 8:30, and from Byurakan, at 7:40, to bring the participants to the
University before 9:00 (beginning of the sessions every day). Our people will
accompany you in the mornings. Please contact our representatives at the hotels
for any assistance. They will stay at the hotels during the evenings as well
(18:00-24:00). The person in charge of this support group is Hasmik Tarkhanyan.
All participants are encouraged to use the JENAM-2007 official taxi provider
"Taxi Tour". In this case you will avoid any possible misunderstanding when
paying for the taxi and have fixed rates at least for the tours in the centre
(up to 4 km it is 600 AMD or 1.3 EUR).
8. REGISTRATION
The registration will take place at Ani Plaza hotel on Sunday, August 19, from
12:00 to 19:00. It will be open for the participants arriving later during the
five days of JENAM at the University as well. LOC will be represented by a
secretariat, which will assist you with any matters concerning the
registration, travel grants, etc. Please be kind to inform about any changes in
your registration file (flight details, participation in social events, etc.).

9. TRAVEL GRANTS
EAS travel grants will be distributed by the EAS representatives. Please contact
the EAS treasurer Anne Dutrey for this. ArAS and LOC travel grants will
be distributed at the registration.
10. WELCOME RECEPTION
The welcome reception will take place at Ani Plaza hotel on Sunday, August 19,
from 19:00 to 21:00.
11. PAYMENTS
As informed before, you will be able to make all payments during the
registration desk here in Armenia. All payments should be done to LOC, as LOC
has arranged your all expenses here: accommodation, social events, etc. However,
to avoid extra charges due to payments by credit cards or cashing from ATM
machines, we suggest that you make all payments by bank transfer before coming.
Moreover, our bank hasn't yet confirmed if direct payments by credit cards will
be available, and cash payments may remain the only option here at the
registration. Our French bank account allows minimum charges when paying from
Europe. The details are as follows:

12. SOCIAL EVENTS
The social program includes Welcome reception (Sunday, 19.08.2007, at
19:00-21:00, included in the registration fee), Visit to the Yerevan Brandy
Company (Wednesday, August 22, at 16:00-18:00, free for all participants),
Excursion to the Byurakan Observatory and Joint Dinner (Wednesday, August 22, at
18:00-22:00, 24 Euros), JENAM-2007 banquet (Friday, August 24, at 19:00-22:00,
30 Euros), Excursions to Armenian sightseeing (Saturday, August
25, at 09:00-14:00 or 14:00-19:00; 14 Euros without lunch).
For any matters concerning the welcome reception, visits to Yerevan Brandy
Company and Byurakan, and the banquet, please contact our person in charge Nune
Khurshudyan.
Beside the joint excursions on August 22 and 25, additional tours will be
organized for accompanying persons and those scientists not attending sessions
on the given days. Thus, every day there will be several excursions for a number
of participants:
ECHMIATZIN and ZVARTNOTS (August 20 and 23; 5 hours with lunch, 20 Euros).
GARNI and GEGHARD (August 21 and 24; 5 hours with lunch, 20 Euros).
LAKE SEVAN (August 20 and 23; full day with lunch and dinner, 36 Euros).
KHOR VIRAP, NORAVANK, and KARAHUNGE (August 23; full day with lunch and dinner,
36 Euros).
MT. ARAGATZ (August 21; full day with lunch and dinner, 32 Euros).
For longer duration tours (3-4 days) after JENAM-2007 (during August 25-31),
please ask our representative at the registration desk. Lilit Verdyan is our
person in charge for the social tours.
13. PUBLIC RELATIONS
Many of you may wish to publish some materials or give interviews for our mass
media. As JENAM-2007 is a significant event in the scientific life of Armenia,
many representatives of our mass media will be present and will be ready to
speak to you. Our persons in charge for this (PR) are Alla Serobyan and Zohrab
Haroyan, who will be available in the press centre.
