At Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory (hereafter BAO) seminars are held on Mondays and Thursdays. We organize scientific (S), review (Rv), technical (T), report (Rp) and informational (I) seminars at BAO.
BAO encourages Rv seminars on different topics of astronomy and astrophysics. The speakers are paid for Rv seminars 20.000 AMD according to the decision N305, 09 November 2018 of the director of BAO.
The last Monday of each month is appointed for a general S seminar of one of the scientific departments of BAO. The seminar is held by the head of the department and presents briefly the ongoing work at the department and the important results obtained within one year.
To present a seminar at BAO one should send the title and the abstract at least one week before the seminar filling in the seminar application form.
